The Lord’s Supper

Modified on Mon, 16 Sep at 8:50 PM

We believe that it is a privilege and a responsibility of each baptized believer to partake in the Lord's Supper (Communion) with God's people, all of whom are walking others of God's people, who are walking in the light and in obedience to the Word of God; that the bread and wine are symbols only; that the Communion has no saving efficacy, but, is a service of commemoration to assist the believer to meditate upon the sufferings and death of Christ, fully examining himself in the light of these, thus leading him to greater love, praise, worship, adoration, obedience, and holiness; and that all true believers are under obligation to refuse to partake of this ordinance, with those professing Christians who are walking in disobedience or with unbelievers, according to I Corinthians 5:6-13.
